For many years Hotel Le Boomerang in the centre of Les Gets has been a landmark building, close to the slopes of Mont Chery and Les Chavannes and just metres from the bars, shops and restaurants of the resort.
Le Boomerang has now closed its doors for the final time and is set to be replaced by Le Solaret, a 42 apartment development with luxury properties ranging in size from spacious 29m2 studious to a 6-bed 195m2 duplex penthouse. Currently reserving off plan, the development offers stunning views across the village and private underground parking too. Prices begin at €270,000 for a studio apartment.
Apartments at Le Solaret are for sale with local property specialists France Property Angels, their Les Gets-based representative Fiona Carless told us “The new development will offer a range of apartment sizes and will be finished to a high quality with traditional wood and stone features throughout”.
All apartments will be sold with fully fitted kitchens and that all-important ski storage locker. There’ll also be a spa, wellness area and fitness room for owners too. Construction begins in December 2017 with completion expected towards the end of 2019.
