Action Academy returns to Morzine with a series of inspirational speakers

Following their successful branding masterclass event at Café Chaud in December, the team from Action Academy are returning to Morzine for a special week of co-working and inspiration, as they present “Nomads Camp” – an event designed to connect likeminded entrepreneurs with a shared passion for enterprise and adventure.

Nomads Camp will be held at locations across Morzine, between April 17th to 22nd, featuring a series of talks from inspirational figures who have successfully blurred the lines between work and adventure sports.

Founder of Action Academy, Doug Stidolph says, “Action Academy is a community for the adventrepreneurs who work to fuse their lifestyles and ambition. It’s our experience that many start-up businesses and entrepreneurs share a deep and underlying passion for adventure sports. The world too often conforms to traditional and archaic methods of working, and in a modern society that’s more connected and flexible than we’ve ever known before, we aim to break these old-fashioned and outdated methods.

“The idea behind Nomads Camp is to invite people to join us in the mountains to prove that you can work hard and stay connected from anywhere in the world, and when the lap top closes you have a world of adventure right on your doorstep to provide some relief from sitting behind a screen – we couldn’t think of a better place to showcase this than Morzine.”

Confirmed speakers include, adventurer and endurance athlete Sophie Radcliffe, PR and media guru Cameron Hall and entrepreneur Andrew Htun, with more speakers set to be announced in the build up to the event.

Doug continues, “Each of our speakers understand first-hand how to create and seize an opportunity. They’ve taken the plunge in their respective worlds and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the line-up. We hope their stories and insight will help to inspire and motivate those who share our ambition, drive and a love for adventure.”

Nomads Camp packages for those travelling to Morzine start at £490 including five nights accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis and free access to all talks, networking and social events throughout the week.

Individual tickets to speaking events are also available to purchase for those who live locally, with early bird discounts available until April 12th; with 10% of all net proceeds from ticket sales donated to snowsports youth charity Snow-Camp; providing disadvantaged young people with the chance to experience mountain sports and develop leadership skills.
