It’s often mentioned that Morzine has its own micro-climate and this is no myth. The resort’s location, half way between the super high peak of Mont Blanc and Western Europe’s largest lake, Lake Geneva, is scientifically proven to produce an excellent snow record. The climate provides excellent snowy conditions which dump right over Morzine for much of the winter season.
